TNK Catran Transmission Oils for Off-Highway Vehicles




 

DESCRIPTION

The TNK Catran oils form the transmission oil series which is specially designed for off-highway vehicles (mostly Caterpillar and Komatsu) working under heavy duty conditions. The oils are recommended for use in power-shift transmissions, final drives and main gears, hydraulic systems and oil bath brakes.TNK Catran 10W and TNK Catran 30 are winter oil and summer oil, respectively; they are comprised of the highly hydro-processed mineral base oils and the modern composition of imported additives. In addition to the above mentioned applications, the oils are also recommended for use in the transmissions produced by Eaton, Fuller, ZF, Dana, Rockwell, etc., where the oil of this grade is required. The oils are not recommended for use in transmissions of agricultural and similar equipment where the UTTO oils are requires. For such applications the TNK Trans UTTO oil is recommended.

FEATURES

Advantages of the TNK Catran oils are as follows:

  • The oils are specially designed to provide reliable operation of the transmission assemblies, noiseless brake operation and minimal sliding of the clutch discs in the off-highway heavy duty vehicles during their whole service life.
  • The optimally balanced composition of the anti-wear and anti-seizure additives provides prolonged service life of the oil in the following critical units: gear wheels in the main gears and differential gears, bronze brake discs of power transmissions.
  • The oils comprise the balanced components which improve thermal and oxidation stability, protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals against corrosion and minimize foaming tendency.

STANDARDS/APPROVALS

TNK Catran 10W and TNK Catran 30 conform to SAE 10W and SAE 30 specifications, as well as to Caterpillar TO-4, GM Allison C-4, Komatsu KES 07 868.1, ZF TE-ML 03C.
